Cut Through the Noise: Attract Qualified Clients

Many of you are asking how you can maximize on your health and wellness marketing, you know, to get more clients and make more money.  There are many options to choose from, but I would strongly recommend you choose 2 or 3 that resonate with you as a practitioner.  However, there is only one preferred marketing solution you MUST do, to see the results you are looking for.

There’s a lot of ‘noise’ out there about how to get more clients such as high-priced programs or coaching, other social media and funnel choices, along with monthly blogging and posting, videos, seminars, workshops and the list goes on and on. I’m sure you’ve heard of many, but in this blog, I’m going to talk about one that gets overlooked, a lot. I’m thinking the other choices already mentioned, you can find more information since everyone under the sun, is selling something to help you out. The big decision is, who do you choose to ask for help?

I’ve had many great mentors over the years, and just as many great coaches that have helped me to cut through the noise. When you think you can do it all alone, my question is why? Ongoing education is something that you should always consider. We don’t have all the answers – not even close. Getting other perspectives from professionals that have already been down the road you are now traveling, is critical to your eventual success. To be honest, I’ve bought many books written by ‘experts’, and have taken many programs myself, and I’m just about ready to splurge on escalating my reading and seminar time, so that I can learn more, to serve you better. It never ends, this quest for knowledge.

cut through the noise

I love listening to Tony Robbins, Robin Sharma, Jack Canfield and Brain Tracy. All of them I have followed for years! However, each one of them offers me something different, and depending what I need at that particular moment in my business, this will influence to whom I’m listening to. Just because someone is famous and has made millions, doesn’t mean they are right for you, whether this be timing or style. I’ve also mentored with a lot of coaches, that none of you would recognize their names, but they did amazing work!

However, finding someone to help you on your journey is my second choice when it comes to effective health and wellness marketing. My first choice, is you. Yep! You!

Now marketing, especially health and wellness marketing, has changed since I started my own health business, but one thing has always remained true, 25 years later. Corporations or individuals buy from someone they know, respect or can relate to. It’s that simple. So, while everyone is trying to sell you something, make sure you buy and pay attention to those that offer a program or service, that the individual expert themselves, resonates with you, and only you.

Don’t follow the crowd. I’ve found the larger the following, sometimes the personalized aspect of what you really need as a small business entrepreneur, is lacking. That’s not to say the program isn’t great, but it’s not personal enough for you, and your small practice. I’m not a strong believer in one program fits all.

Cut through the noise

In my world of health and wellness marketing, I have focused less on what I was offering, but more on what I, as a person, can bring to the client. I’m not necessarily talking about your wealth of knowledge, because chances are, after we’ve been educated in our fields, we all have knowledge. It’s important but it isn’t the be-all and end-all of what people are looking for.

People are craving human connection from many different aspects – approachability, personality and of course, your vibration. Customers, whether they are individuals or corporations want people they can have a professional relationship with, that they can see strengths they admire, with more positive thinking and problem-solving skills, and high energy, to name a few criteria. People use to say to me, I just like ‘you’ and your energy, and of course my knowledge did seal the deal, but they want to work with someone they enjoy seeing and talking to everyday. They want to know you bring light and sunshine to the assignment or the program you are offering. Your behaviours, your philosophies and your drive will take you a long way.

So, while you are trying to enhance your health and wellness marketing, remember to shine and show people how amazing you are. They will put money down on this alone, not the service you are trying to sell.
